I deal with the whole design process from beginning to end, you can use all of my services or just part of them, depending on your requirements. I have been working in the building industry for 32 years, the latest 22 years with my own business where I have provided my clients with projects ranging from small extensions to full housing or other developments.
Architectural Designs
Before starting your new extension or build it is a good idea to see what the finished product will look like. I provide appraisal/sketch schemes, full planning layouts, full working drawings, details, development layouts, external works and landscaping layouts, engineering layouts, finishing schedules, road and sewer sections and details, service layouts, deed plan layouts etc.
Planning Applications
However small or large your build may be, legislation normally requires that you receive planning permission before you start to build. I have vast experience with numerous local authorities concerning clients' preparation and submission of planning applications.
Structural Surveys
If you have any damage to your property then I will inspect all internal rooms, cellars and roof voids; external walls, external roof and the surrounding areas to the property. I will then identify and provide a statement of the current condition of the structure, along with recommending remedial works and associated costs.
Building Control Applications
Building control applications are necessary in some instances to comply with the health and safety of persons entering a building, conservation, in addition to access and facilities for people with disabilities. I will deal with the local authority to ensure your build or extension encompasses all controls.
Structural Designs
In addition to structural surveys, I provide full service structural plans or drawings. I can integrate AutoCAD based construction models into your drawings, creating a singular professional set of plans, in order to follow current structural design regulations.
Building Reports
I have prepared countless reports over many years, covering numerous aspects of the industry such as feasibility studies, surveys of existing buildings, building defect reports, and related issues.

With 32 years building experience and 22 years established as a Building Consultant, I have vast experience and knowledge about the building trade and am more than happy to give advice on any aspect of your build, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your concerns.
Overseeing
Also known as Project Manage, your extension or build is a highly crafted one off prototype, made from tens of thousands of components from hundreds of suppliers, put together by various trades, to ensure your project runs smoothly. I will oversee any or every aspect that you require.
Quantity Surveying
I will manage the costs from the early design plans right through to the building's completion. My main priority is to make sure that projects meet legal and quality standards, and that you get good value for money.
Budgets and Estimating
As builders you will not normally wish to concern yourselves with budgets and estimating when your talents may be employed more usefully elsewhere, I will take charge of all the budgets and estimating to ensure the project can be completed as smoothly as possible.
Building Management
To ensure a build runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, I will manage the build from beginning to end or from any intermediate point, according to your requirements.
Land and Building Surveying
I provide expert advice on construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment; always ensuring compliance with building regulations.
